Since the company was founded in Denmark in 1978, SCAN have focussed on offering our customers some of the best woodburning stoves on the market, paying particular attention to design, innovation and detail. Wood burning Models

Scan 41 range

As far as Danish Design goes, Scan 41 is classic and elegant. This is a design expression that leaves you with many possibilities, when it comes to placement and interior decoration in the home. Scan 41 is a medium-sized stove with a large glass front door. This provides a perfect view of the flames, which also creates a warm and cosy ambiance. The stove is available with or without glass on the sides, so you can opt to have an even better view of the flames. The solid closing mechanism makes the stove user friendly to operate with only one hand.
Scan 41-1 is without lateral windows.
Scan 41-2 is with lateral windows for a better view of the flames.

Scan 65 range

Clean lines and simple design give you a piece of furniture that will complement any existing decor regardless of style. Scan 65 is a medium-sized stove with large glass door providing a perfect view of the flames. Natural stones can be integrated in the stove to retain its pure expression. It is available with or without side windows. Scan Soft-close system is standard on most of the models.

Scan 66 range

The organic shape of Scan 66 creates a beautiful frame around the fire, and the view to the flames is maximized through the use of glass in the log retainer. Hang it on the wall or choose between different base options. Scan 66 is available in pure white and black paint.

Scan 68 range

Scan 68 draws its design from the iconic Scan 58 series, one of the world's bestselling stoves. The straight lines and combination of glass and aluminium represent the principal of design expression. The elliptic shape adds an expression into its surroundings and is a joy to watch. The Scan 68 series is available with three different base options - or you can simply hang it on the wall. As something new Scan 68 is now also available in grey, white, champagne, and silver!

Scan 80 range

Like a basalt column hiding a glowing lava, the Scan 80 provides a beautiful 180 degree view of the flames through a prismatic glass. Scan 80 is perfectly suitable for a corner installation. In the best tradition of Danish design, the handle is beautifully integrated in the stove to provide a clean and slender line. The tall version of Scan 80 can accomodate heat accumulating stones which will provide warmth up to 12 hours after loading the last logs. As someting quite new, the versions without wood door are now available in white.

Models available:
Scan 80 Scan 80-1 has a closed base, while Scan 80-2 has a pratical door for wood storage in the base. Scan 80-1 is also available in white.

Scan 80 High Top Scan 80-3 has a closed base, while Scan 80-4 has a pratical door for wood storage in the base. If the stove is to be placed in a corner, it is available with a special high top with side outlet. Scan 80-3 is also available in white.

Scan 83 range

The noiseless and self-closing soft-close door is only one of many unique details characterizing the Scan 83. The curved glass door gives a perfect view of the fire, and the handle has been positioned so that it completes the simple design, while remaining cool at the same time. The Scan 83 can be supplied with a revolving base, so that you can enjoy the flames wherever you are in the room. We can now present two colours for this stove series: champagne and silver!

Scan 83 - Colours Scan 83-1, Scan 83-2, Scan 83-3 and Scan 83-4 are also available in four beautiful colours, matching most homes. Choose from pure white, metallic brown and glossy red. See more pictures under each model.

Scan 85 range

Scan 85 is a large stove with perfect proportions. The burn chamber design creates “a cave” that provides the fire with optimum conditions. The result is a unique flame picture behind the ingenious sliding door. The elegant handle is flush with the stove's external shape, and it only takes a light push to release the handle and make it easy to get to.

Models available:
Scan 85 Scan 85 is a large cylindrical wood-burning stove, perfectly suited for larger rooms. For this model, you can choose a High Top with Scan Heat Storage system enabling you to enjoy the heat for up to 12 hours after wood was last added to the fire.

Scan 85 High Top Scan 85 High Top is a model with low base and high top. For this model, you can choose Scan Heat Storage system enabling you to enjoy the heat for up to 12 hours after wood was last added to the fire.

Scan 85 High Base Scan 85 High Base is a model with high base and low top. The burn chamber is raised which makes it easier to fill in wood and improves the view of the fire.

Scan 85 Maxi Scan 85 Maxi is a model with high base and high top. For this model, you can choose Scan Heat Storage system enabling you to enjoy the heat for up to 12 hours after wood was last added to the fire.

Scan 1008-S

Scan 1008-S is a complete free-standing stove with elementary framing of firewall panels.

The elementary framing consists of firewall panels, which can be assembled in 1-2 hours. Because of the insulating abilities of the panels, the stove can be placed close to the wall. After the assembly, you can personalise it by painting it in a colour of your own choice. It does not get much simpler!

Inserts & Fireplaces

Scan DSA 12

Built-in fireplaces give the wood-burning stove a different role than the traditional one. Before lighting the fire,the expression is unobtrusive; when the fire is blazing, the flames create living art on the wall. This is a clear choice when renovating open fireplaces or building new ones.
Scan DSA 12 is an insert with glass on both sides enabling you to see right through.

Scan 1000-Series

The Scan 1000-series consists of a number of elegant and exclusive stove inserts in different sizes - in short something for every need. The design is feminine and functional with innovative details such as front glass with black or white décor on most models.

Models available:

Scan 1003 Scan 1003 is a flush insert, available with either a white glass with matt chrome trims or a black glass with black trims. Scan 1003 takes logs up to 50 cm. New: now also available with door frame in black steel!

Scan 1004 Scan 1004 is a flush insert, available with either a white glass with matt chrome trims or a black glass with black trims. Scan 1004 takes logs up to 65 cm. New: now also available with door frame in black steel!

Scan 1005 Scan 1005 is 10 cm lower than Scan 1001 and available in the same versions. Scan 1005 takes logs up to 50 cm.

Scan 1006 Scan 1006 is 10 lower than Scan 1002 and available in the same versions. Scan 1006 takes logs up to 65 cm.

Scan 1008 Get the feeling of an open fireplace in the living room with Scan 1008 Scan 1008 fireplace insert gives the living room a cosy and modern Nordic expression. Scan 1008 can be installed as desired but is especially convenient for installation in a corner. Large open rooms feel warm and you get the pleasure of seeing the fireplace from several sides. In a true Danish design tradition, the handle, the controls and all technical details are elegantly hidden inside the stove to give a clean and attractive expression.

Scan 5000-Series

This new series of contemporary inserts offers a subtle design, allowing the large view to the flames to dominate the room. Choose from traditional doors or guillotine, and between glass on one, two, or three sides. Light burn plates in chamotte provide a light look and an airy feel.

Scan 5003 FR / FL Scan 5003 is a corner insert with a horizontal flame image. It comes with glass on two sides, front/left (FL) or front/right (FR).

Scan 5004 FR / FL Scan 5004 FR/FL is a large fireplace with glass on two sides, either front/right (FR) or front/left (FL). This insert is perfect for a corner installation. A high end lifting/guillotine door with soft-close mechanism leaves an exclusive impression.

Scan 5004 FRL Scan 5004 FRL is a large fireplace, which will dominate your room and spread the feeling of luxury. The glass covers three sides. A high end lifting/guillotine door with soft-close mechanism leaves an exclusive impression.
